NorthWinds Brass Quintet

Ottawa's NorthWinds Brass Quintet has been making fine brass music in eastern Ontario since 1998. Made up of trumpeters Ken Iles and Alan Ridgway, Martin Bender on french horn, Dean Tronsgard on trombone and Dan Hill on tuba, the NWBQ has been integral to many celebrations and concerts in this region.

From 'early music' to jazz, the NWBQ draws on a wide library of resources to bring to its various audiences an exciting musical experience.

A soprano, a trumpet, a violin, a bassoon and a harpsichord make up Ottawa's most unique chamber group ... Carousel. This unusual quintet produces an entirely fresh sound with material being drawn from anywhere in the musical spectrum.
